George has been in the field of occupational safety and fire protection for over 44 years and has a degree in fire science/safety.  He has an extensive working history in the safety field, doing safety compliance audits, enforcement inspections, accident investigations, expert witness testimony, OSHA Informal Conferences, OSHA written program assistance and on-site and classroom training. He is also a certified OSHA Trainer for the 10 and 30 Hour OSHA General Industry and Construction classes.

He served on several safety and health curriculum committees, such as Columbus State Community College, Hocking Technical College and The Ohio Center for Occupational Safety and Health.  He has written course curriculum for these establishments and taught several of the classes on OSHA procedures and safety.

He has served on several state and federal safety task forces in OSHA’s Regional and National Offices over the years on major safety issues.  Has written and assisted in the writing of several safety manuals for the State of Ohio’s Division of Safety and Hygiene on various safety topics.
